Tokenomics (SN41)

SN41 is the native Alpha token of Sportstensor, Bittensor Subnet 41. It is the unit of reward for proven predictive performance and the asset through which product revenue flows back into the network. The token exists to align three groups — miners, validators, and traders — around a single objective: producing the most accurate sports intelligence in the world.

// KEY PARAMETERS

Ticker: SN41 (Alpha token). Network: Bittensor Subnet 41. Max supply: 21,000,000 SN41. The token trades on the Subnet Tokens DEX as the SN41/SN0 pair, and the subnet can be tracked on taostats and GeckoTerminal. Holders custody it with SubWallet or the Bittensor wallet extension.

As an early subnet, roughly a fifth of max supply has been emitted so far, and the token has been highly volatile — from an all-time high near $16.73 in late 2025 down into a sub-$1 range. Live market figures should always be checked on a current data source; the numbers here describe structure, not a price quote.

// UTILITY & VALUE FLOW

Emissions. SN41 rewards miners and validators for proven predictive performance. High-signal miners earn the largest share of daily emissions; validators earn for doing the work of scoring and securing the network.

Registration burn. Registering a miner burns TAO, making sybil attacks costly and keeping the competition honest.

Revenue-backed buybacks. Almanac's 1% winning-trade fee is used to buy back SN41 on the open market, with potential burns. This is the anti-dilutive flywheel — real product revenue creating real buy pressure. The treasury has also demonstrated reinvesting trading profits into the token, generating a documented $17,842 profit (a 178.42% monthly return) in February 2025 that was reinvested into the subnet.

// WHY IT'S DIFFERENT

Most token economies rely on emissions alone, which dilutes holders over time. Sportstensor pairs emissions with a genuine revenue source — a product people use to trade — and routes that revenue straight back into the token. It ties speculative value to a working business, not just to an inflation schedule.
